The following indicates what items are addressed
during a normal preventative maintenance service visit for our
fabric covered buildings.
1)
Call Frequency
: Quarterly Bi-Annual
Annual
2)
Service Personnel
: All service to be performed by
Milestones trained service representatives.
3)
Building Maintenance
:
Ensure that all
straps are secure and cover or
panels are tight.
Check for any
loose or lifted fabric at weld
points or seams.
Adjust all
lashing winches to the factory
recommended tension.
Check all belts
for wear. Replace if
necessary.
Inspect entire
building for fabric wear points
or punctures.
Ensure that all
cables are tight, check for wear
& turnbuckle tension,
replace/tighten.
Check all Base
plate and winch plate bolts and
nuts for tightness.
Ensure security
of end flaps and tighten
ratchets if necessary.
Check and tighten
as necessary all 1" belting at
end PVC pipes.
Inspect all pipe
tension pockets for wear or
separation. Repair if necessary.
Inspect steel for
signs of damage, nicks or
scratches; cover with cold zinc
paint when needed.

Ends Maintenance
:
Check for any
loose or damaged d-rings. Repair
if necessary.
Ensure that all
belting at pvc and around the
ESS or channel is tight .
Inspect all
cables for wear and proper
tension. Replace or adjust if
necessary.
Inspect all base
plate bolting. Tighten if
necessary.
5)
Doors:
Inspect all over
head doors and frames for signs
of wear.
Lubricate and
adjust tension (if necessary)
roller chain or cable drive.
Check door panels
or fabric panels for wear or
punctures. Repair if necessary.
Lubricate all
moving parts (sprockets, gears
etc.).
6)
Side
Entrances
Inspect side
entrances/curtains belting &
cables for signs of wear & check
for proper tension.
Inspect framework
and tighten or adjust if
necessary.
7)
Eaves
Inspect fabric
for loose seams or signs of
wear. Replace or repair as
necessary.
Check framework
for loose bolts and alignment.
Tighten or adjust as necessary.
